Residential design and implementation of the interior of a holobyt investment duplex in the immediate vicinity of the Danube. The latter became the main theme of the entire interior. The motif of the river, the mirroring of the surface, waves and fish is found throughout the interior: whether it is the mirrored coffee table in the shape of a wave, which reflects the central light fixture also in the shape of a wave with a mirror effect. The metallic wallpaper with wave effect is illuminated by a hand-shaped wall light made of Venetian glass, also with a mirror effect. Individual fish decorations, boat-shaped decorations and I even got hold of cushions in the shape of fish scales with a metallic effect, stretch throughout the interior.
Living room
As the interior was extremely narrow, it was necessary to adapt the floor to the existing staircase (otherwise a different floor would have made the space even narrower). At the same time, this created a suitable base for creating an elegant contrast to the white high-gloss furnishings. Just for the sake of contrast, elegance, uniformity of the interior and its optical expansion, I used a brownish wallpaper on one of the walls, which follows the floor and thus visually expands the space (the same walls do not form a "tunnel") and adds a certain character to the space. Because the metallic wallpaper reflects light, it doesn't look dark in the daytime.
Ice kitchen
In the kitchen there is an "ice corner" which I have enhanced by using a fine tiling stone in which are effectively recessed illuminated shelves tailor-made. The white here is deliberately disturbed by a screen made of parquet flooring, thus visually shortening the very long space. The more distant dining table, with its icy white design with translucent legs, thematically complements the kitchen and also relates to the glass balustrade of the staircase. Warmth is brought in the form of white furry fur coats. The entire interior has colour-variable lighting.
Bedroom
Modern bathroom, understated and elegant
A modern bathroom whose main characteristic is subtle and understated elegance. The small bathroom in the new building has been given a completely different dimension by the slight modification of the grids, the use of a single matt-gloss lappato tile, and the backlighting of the mirror, cabinet and bathtub. The illuminated cabinet was deliberately inserted more loosely into the niche, leaving the bathroom airy and as if "modulated" by the light. In keeping with the symbolism of the entire interior, fish were again used as decoration in the bathroom.
