Industrial style living under the forest

Interior / Exterior

Recreational character of the interior and exterior The sympathetic owners transformed the house under the forest into an inspiring industrial-style home on their own. In contrast to the design, they ended up using a more distinctive shade of brick available and, given this expressiveness, decided to “brick” only one wall of the living room, which is even better given the expressiveness of the cladding. I always approach the cladding in such a way that it is as naturally clad as possible. Since this was a multi-storey house, I chose one logical wall of the hallway, which stretches vertically across all floors. As a result, the entire interior has a uniform character. It is practical from a “sustainability” perspective. Moreover, with its minimal presence on each floor, it does not unnecessarily clutter up the space, but only refreshes it. The original classic carved wooden staircase had to be changed to a metal one with a more industrial character.
