Garden design, Orava

Garden design with a requirement for marginal planting while preserving the central lawn. I composed the flower bed next to the house as a miniature of Orava with typical plants on the river banks in the lowest part of the flower bed - from grasses to trees, continuing through the central part to the highest part of the flower bed, where typical plants of the highlands remained, supplemented with boulders. The flower bed is also supplemented with other ornamental woody plants for variety. In front of the terrace there are fragrant herbs such as sage, and also one miniature spruce serving as a base for exterior Christmas lighting.

To the right of the house, I placed a deciduous tree so that it would provide privacy from the neighbors above in the summer and not cut off the light in the interior when the leaves fall in the winter. There is only low planting at the back of the house so that it would not interfere in the narrow space and would allow a view into the garden. To balance the height of the plot, I placed several coniferous trees in one corner, creating a miniature grove, which again provides privacy and shade for the dog in the kennel. As the children grow, they will be able to go on camping trips and later spread out a hammock in the trees.
