Interior design interior of a house for an American-Slovak family that decided to come to Slovakia and bring with them a piece of the atmosphere of an American home. The range of styles from rural shabby-chic to bohemian style of daughters to retro-industrial interior was a big challenge. The oversized window was created for cladding and finishing with an industrial staircase. Since there is no direct view out to the garden in the relaxation area, I covered the window itself and the staircase with greenery, the purpose of which was to bring the atmosphere of a winter garden. The octagonal staircase optically expands the narrow living room and, in combination with the octagonal table, creates a delicate symbiosis. To make the interior special, I used a trio of different hanging chandeliers in an industrial style. The trio of large clocks represent the different homes of their owners and thus give the possibility to set different times. Approximately 6 variants were designed for the fireplace/oven and kitchen solution.
