After years of new living, it came down to the final shape of the living room. There were several layout variations and many more furniture assemblies in play. The high plinth with backlighting won out. Since the whole space was pale on one side and had two strong black elements, namely the fireplace and the TV, on the other side, it was necessary to balance the space. So I used strong-looking black legs on the tables opposite to match the black counterpart. The wall in the corridor that attracted the dog I suggested lining with stone as a prevention against pollution as well as a strong decorative effect, which is visually felt both in the centre of the action and in the living room.
