Design a modern library for the writer. The library was designed to incorporate a hidden bar, document compartments shielded from view, mostly open compartments not only for books but also paintings, statuettes and flowers, all imported from his previous residence in Malta. Of the many possibilities in terms of colour, layout and materials, this published version was chosen. The requirement was to preserve the other existing furnishings. However, I changed the seating and dining room layout and added a fireplace and curtains.
