Design of the overall concept of a modern brick gazebo, shading and internal layout so that the building is adapted to a modern family home. All masonry sections have been designed away from the north side and neighbours to maximise visual and weather amenity. Sliding sun screens can be used to control the momentary need for shading against wind or sun. The TV is on a swivel bracket, for shade under the extended canopy. For thermal comfort in spring or on warm autumn days, a portable table or floor bio-frame can be used in addition to the large wall bio-frame inside the seating area. Due to the required rather large distance from the house, I made just a relaxing lounging area in place of the dining room.

Modern wooden gazebo
The client originally wanted a wooden gazebo, but after presenting the option of a brick gazebo, the client clearly opted for the brick option. The concept was implemented by the investor and his contractor.
